Third Grade Everyday Math is part of an elementary math curriculum developed by the University of Chicago School Of Mathematics Project. Everyday Math uses problem-solving instructional strategies that are based on everyday situations. To enhance the development of basic concepts, children regularly revisit and practice concepts which were taught earlier. This spiral curriculum is designed to build on previously learned concepts throughout the year, rather than treating them as isolated bits of knowledge.
